12/10/2016:  In order to spread FIRST and STEM throughout the community, the Hammerheads held an outreach event at the Hands-On Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Hammerheads took over a room in the museum and set up different stations to teach kids about engineering. The Hammerheads had a total of five stations- LEGOs, Robot safety, 3D printing, FRC Stronghold robot, and our Robofest competition robot. We had lots of families come in and we got to showcase some very interesting features. The kids were especially enthralled by the LEGO station and enjoyed letting their imagination loose while getting interested in STEM. Everyone, Hammerheads and families alike, enjoyed themselves and that made this event worthwhile.
